Yes, but what happens when - well - the wind changes? I went LGW to BJV yesterday. We left a few minutes early, got airborne quite swiftly for LGW and yet were still 22 minutes late in Bodrum in the 3 hours 50 minutes scheduled flight time. Wind and routing were to blame. For the return service I noticed they were still 11 minutes late back into LGW. Now everything went right, everyone on board nice and early, no missing passengers, no bad weather at LGW or BJV, a fast ride back to London. I suspect Rome will end up being used a few times.
(Incidentally I learnt yesterday that there will be an extra crew member on SSHs, so 5 instead of the usual 4 for A320).
