From the point you exit customs you'd go upstairs to the 4th floor (arrivals are 2nd floor) and head to Row F for Bangkok Air. From there domestic security will take you 2 minutes and, depending upon where the gate is, it might take you no more than 8 minutes to get there.

If VN won't through check the bags then, assuming you land ontime, you'll have, safely, 60 minutes to navigate #2,3 above and that shouldn't be problematic.
