The eclipse started just as I was taking off from ORD for LIT. Before even the flight attendants got out of their seats, the pilots announced the visibility of the eclipse from the left (port) side of the aircraft and suddenly everyone was out of their seats, which the FAs ignored.

Thankfully I had chosen my normal A seat. I have a crick this morning from having my head stuck to the left the entire flight but it was cool to see from up in the air. We had a great view until descent into LIT as there was moderate cloud cover in the area.
