Hi,
I am looking to book a connecting flight to/from Dublin from LHR.
I can't really justify £600 for 2 people return when the economy fare is around £250.
Unless I am missing something obvious the benefits for the £350 are few and far between given that legroom is the same as economy and it is a short flight.
Currently we are zero status and will be zero when we fly out. So no lounge etc., at LHR.
When we return we will be Gold at the very least and maybe silver (depends if we take another flight beforehand).
Now as far as luggage is concerned, Gold's get an extra bag - is this based on status when buying the ticket or at the time of flying. In other words if we turn up with an extra bag each on the return will there be any issues on the return leg. We will have just come from LHR on business so might have an extra bag.
Thanks and if you can think of any reason why we should pay £100 each per flight for business, please let us know!
