Hello fellow FTers, has anyone used this Plat benefit before? The Canadian Plat benefits call for the $25 valet fee to be waived.

The cost as per Toronto Pearson's website:
$25 / flat rate per stay plus Daily Valet rate of $40 per day.

Here's my experience:
Pulled up into the valet curb. Attendant asked me if I have the Amex Plat. I said I do. He asked how long will I be staying. I said "30 minutes". He gave me two options:

1) My car can stay up here at the Valet Care line for $20.
2) My car can be picked up downstairs in the parking garage for $65.

I'm wondering if I'm being taken in or is this truly what the charges are. Can anyone share their experience?
