We have always been allowed in the Skyclub when traveling to anywhere in the Caribbean with a BC ticket but this must be a recent policy change. I could say a few more negative things about Delta but won't since I have a couple of trips booked on DL. We are not BT, just travel for pleasure and are SM status. Was GM at one time but it is hard to maintain traveling for pleasure.
At least since the time of the merger, DL has been defining international differently for different purposes. For example, northern South America flights don't require global upgrade certs.
