underpressure, RIP
I have just received the sad news that underpressure has passed away after a long illness.
Underpressure, whose real name was James Holmes, was a good friend both on and off of the internet. He had a great sense of humor and I remember that when the other James Holmes became internationally infamous, Jim wrote to me saying that had he posted under his real name, the folks on Omni would accuse him of being the shooter.
Jim, with over 35,000 FT posts, was a stalwart of FT and especially the Delta Forum. Those of us who knew him personally, and there were quite a few, will miss him greatly.
