You would bring a printed copy of your PG itin and, at checkin with VN, ask for your bags to be checked through.

They might say no.

If they say yes then upon arrival in BKK you will stay on that level and locate the PG domestic transfer desk at the east end of D concourse and get your domestic BPs (and show them your baggage tags). Then head through transfer immi which is right there at the A/B/C/D concourse confluence.

Assuming VN has no organizational problem with interlining bags it's pretty easy.
