When two award seats in business opened up T-24, I called AA from Tokyo to upgrade my two award seats in Y. When I arrived at the airport to check in, found out the AAgent put same name on both tickets leaving the other pax without a ticket. After calling AA, talking with JL ticket agents with limited English, and being put on hold multiple times, everything was finally resolved after more than an hour. Good thing we arrived at the airport with time to spare. Later, when I checked my credit card online, I found out the AAgent also never refunded the taxes for the Y tickets. It took another long phone call, two emails, and a credit card dispute to resolve
