Just wanted to report back to add that this was exactly how the underseat looked on the KLM flight I flew on so was happy I'd opted for aisle B seat. The other person seated in the window A was on his cell commenting how the seat had a box under it and inwardly chuckled to myself and was glad I'd changed locations as it takes away almost half of your foot space. Here's my photo:
On the return flew in an aisle on the other side of the same A330-200 but found the box smaller under the window J seat FWIW.
