... okay lol. It's a pretty trainride though, you even get extra supplemental oxygen. It's on my bucket list, if you had more time I'd totally recommend it.

Air China and Sichuan fly CTU-LXA, but it's not so cheap (~400USD it seems).

Asia-Asia award on UA is 30k RT Y/45k RT J on Air China if you wanna use miles?
Bizarrely enough, United doesn't seem to be able to book award travel to Lhasa. I just checked and there's nothing. Like the route doesn't exist.
