Yes, agree. And the agent kept coming back to the phone every 5 minutes to tell me she was still working on it, to be patient. I kept thanking her for her hard work as the hour went on.
I had not actually looked at the status of my account for a few months and did not see that the miles had been redeposited. There was no indication when I looked at the flights under"my trips" that there was a problem. Status was showing as "ticketed" since March. The miles were put back in June. Ever since the switch over with US I have had problems logging in. I have to enter my password 4-5 times before I can do anything and I have to keep changing the password. I was having this same problem of logging in with my husband's AA account too. So when I saw no schedule changes on my ticket I stopped trying to log into his Aadvantage account and looking at his ticket since we are both on the same itinerary.
