I will be traveling from Rome to Singapore, and would like to get advice on the possible routes on SQ / Star Alliance.

I need to arrive in Singapore on Monday, before 0500 hrs. Also, I would like to stay in Rome for as long as possible i.e leave at the latest possible time, to have more time in the city.

I've seen a few options:

• Rome to Frankfurt at night, then SQ to Singapore, arriving Sunday evening (plenty of time)
• Rome to Zurich on Sunday, then SQ to Sinapore (1145) arriving Monday 0600 (a bit too tight)

My question is:
1. What are the late Sat night/early Sun morning SQ flights out of Europe, that can arrive in Singapore by 0500hrs on a Monday, at the latest? I will then figure out how to get from Rome to that European city to catch the SQ flight.

In effect, from what city does SQ leave late at night or early in the morning? What are the options? So far, I have Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich. Are there other options and other cities that I haven't thought about?

2. Same question as above - but for any Star Alliance carrier.
