As a former denizen of lovely South Amherst, I must point out that Boston is a bit too far to go for dinner. While the greater Amherst area does have many fine eateries, there aren't (or at least weren't when I was there) any acceptable representatives of any cuisine between the West Coast of the US and the east coast of Italy (travelling with the sun, as it were).

However, you can get tempeh in any revolting variation you choose...

PS I just heard about the earthquake. I hope you & yours were unaffected.
