Always window. Looking out, enjoying the view etc is, after making long distances short, the most important thing flying has brought us. Often I stare outside for hours... Never bored or tired of it.
As far as disturbing people when getting out of a window seat, I get out stepping on the armrests, agile and small framed as I am My fellow passengers never have to move an inch, whether sleeping, resting or even having their tray down.
