The easiest way to get discounts at the various places is to pick up any of the numerous tourism guides that are free at the airport, or in any supermarket or car rental facility on the island. All of the places that offer discounts advertise them in these guides.
The largest discounts - up to getting free Helicopter or Whale Watching trips for 2 people, tend to come with the large string attached of attending a timeshare presentation - which, IMHO, is a waste of your precious vacation time.
