I am learning every day, and it seems that combined I fares (inbound I from the US) are changeable. To say it is not confusing would be an understatement.
Tickets issued:
(i) under fares valid for travel in Club World;
(ii) using booking class I; and
(iii) for itineraries originating in the UK...
...are to the best of my knowledge the only tickets for travel on BA where the passenger forfeits the entire value of their coupons if they change their plans.
