Having known the pool would be closed during the stay, I would have looked somewhere else. Sure, I'm a Starwood loyalist but in a region with heat and humidity like this I want a pool.
I complained to the front desk and they were far from sympathetic.
Anyone have any thoughts?
" Kindly be informed that the Hotel’s Infinity Pool will be temporarily closed and will reopen on Monday, 5 October 2015 due to unanticipated maintenance work. During this period, guests will not be able to access the Infinity Pool. "
Website says this.
"Unanticipated".
So I guess unless management decides to offer something in return for all guests, it's unlikely you're going to get anything.
Anyway, with the pollution/haze index hitting the 300s I wouldn't want to be going out...
