I tried searching and didn't see anyone with the following situation:
My phone is already AT&T, but through a small business account my employer pays for.
Has anyone been able to use the offer link to purchase a phone and use their existing plan which is paid for by employer to satisfy the service requirement? Was a HP required to do this? It appear HP hasn't happened for people with existing service, but I have only seen reports from those who have their own account.
From offer language:
You must activate the phone with qualifying AT&T postpaid wireless service (including voice and data as applicable) and keep the phone, and remain active and in good-standing, for at least 15 days.
But does not specify anywhere I can see what "qualifying" means. If no data points, I may try just purchasing the phone and putting my current SIM in it for a month or so, and possibly have to argue with Citi, but I would of course prefer a data point if one exists.
