I just had my first stay as a Hyatt Platinum last week. It was at the HR San Antonio Riverwalk and I thought it went pretty well. The agent who checked me in thanked me for my status and asked if I wanted a 2 PM checkout. As a Hilton Diamond I'm lucky if I can get a 1 PM checkout and that's if I ask so that went a long way. I also was offered breakfast at the restaurant for two as they didn't have a Regency Club. Plus, the point bonus certainly didn't hurt.
