I reserved a room at the Augustine earlier this year, before it became a Starwood hotel. Reservation is through Expedia, prepaid but refundable. Alas, I didn't use Amex SPG card and the rate has since gone up a lot (we're under €400 a night including tax and breakfast) and some days are no longer available, so switching cards could be a problem. Stay is early October.
Should I contact SPG to make sure there are no issues due to change in ownership? I don't have status. EDIT: I realize I don't get stay credit or points on a prepaid third party booking.
Anyone stay in a classic double room?
