The 20 TPs earned on the AA flight was indeed a shock, as I'm used to 35 TPs on BA from LHR to JFK. Any idea why I did get the extra TPs on the BA upgrade from WTP to CW?

I doubt I'm going to cause an issue over the 10 TPs not earned on the AA flights to LIR and back unless I am very close come the end of my year.
