They want to make sure that it is you using the card and that the charges are legitimate. The easiest thing to do is set up text alerts in your account. Then when there is a fraud alert, they will text you, and responding will clear the alert immediately. If you don't do that, you will need to call the number on the back of your card to clear it before you will be able to use your card again.
Thanks for your response. Coincidentally, once I got home and logged onto the site, I noted that I didn't have a text number in my profile. So, I entered it and set up fraud alert notification. OTOH, I hadn't thought to call them about this pending issue. I did, after reading your reply, and that was in fact the issue.
