If going though passports then yes, there's security since you will be in Schengen at that point (briefly). That security checkpoint isn't always open so you may need to request assistance.

If that connection door on the jetty gate trick works then there won't be security since you'd be directly in the boarding gate area. As I say, I'm not sure whether it works or not.
