I kid, I kid. Yeah, it's not a bad deal for $400, and I hadn't even considered the leverage angle you mentioned.
Maybe wishful thinking on my part...but as the saying goes "the best customer is the one you already have" so hopefully they view it that way any make it interesting for me to stay. Amex has been pretty good to me.
