The 10 largest U.S. airlines were ranked, ``based on eight criteria, ranging from long-term investment value to social responsibility,'' by airline industry executives, directors and analysts.
``Our consistent, reliable service, coupled with 54,300 employees who actually enjoy coming to work, have gained tremendous respect from the traveling public, the investment community and our own peers,'' said Continental Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Gordon Bethune.
