Kroger did software upgrades yet has not enabled EMV for some reason.
Kroger also has the ability to do contactless yet virtually none of their locations have it turned on (but a few do)...
Also Kroger's convenience stores and grocery fuel stations do not have customer pinpads, the cashier still swipes the card. They use a Radiant POS. Some of them still use a white/canary paper for customer vs. store copy even.
Safeway/Vons I also expect to meet the deadline. They have been busily upgrading registers lately.
