Boy, wouldn't that be fun for the vendors? Every time it rains, it would be like visiting a water park for them!

I'm a little conflicted on if this is a good or bad thing. The benefit of the walkways is where you're rushing to a flight...and I have no problem saying "excuse me" to get people to move their bags aside so I can pass.

But if they use the space to put in some better bars and restaurants, it would be a good move. Even though its gotten better, T1 is a little embarrassing for a major airport. On the other hand, if they use the space to put in trinket and junk vendors, like t-shirts and Chicago magnets...
