Thanks for all your replies. I spent the past weekend in Hamburg and found a great store for Tracht where I bought a complete outfit for Mrs JohnRain and me. In the end I went for clothes of superior quality as I plan on wearing them again.
The store was surprisingly busy (for a Tracht store in Hamburg) and even served Wiesnbier to its customers... ^
