I stayed at the Rennaissance. Fine hotel, cenrally located, approx 10 min walk to the DOM and the Roman Museum (Do not miss it). Try calling Marriott to see if they have a AAA or Entertainment Discount rate at that hotel, if the posted rates are too high. Buffet Breakfast should be included, and in Germany, I have found it to include Lox at the Marriotts/Rennaissnces.
