Ehhh I'm not the biggest fan of the Grand Hotel it's certainly beautiful and the service is very nice but it's also a bit overrated. I usually only go up that way to have a beer at the Jockey Club nextdoor, here's the streetview for reference. Also, the GH require you to show a "passport" type card to get access to much of the hotel (proving you're a guest) without a tour guide ($$$), but if you want to sneak around that head down the maintenance path to the pool. Obviously sneaking in through the maintenance area is not exactly "classy", but it sure beats paying for some half-hearted tour. I could keep going (I haven't even mentioned that I'm friends with Chief Mackinac... I can seriously go for days hahaha) but I'll leave it at that, this isn't really the right section I suppose.
