Clearly there is a lot of middle ground between the RER (I don't mind the principle of using public transport, but I swear I could have walked faster than the speed it seems to travel) and the utterly insane prices charged by the PHV.
The taxis are too much of a lottery as to what car you get, but Uber and Blacklane really make compelling arguments for taking a reasonably luxurious car to/from the airport at perfectly agreeable prices.
