Why can't they purchase the entire row DEF so that they will be the only four in the row section and not have to worry about a fifth person entering the row?

I'm assuming that somebody has already selected 16F, which is how the question arose. Otherwise, the solution would have been easy and no doubt suggested when the OP contacted UA.
