Not taking a shot at Westin but a harsh reminder that wifi in a public place like a hotel, restaurant or airport is not secure. It is ok to use but never go to sites that require a sign in such as a bank, frequent flyer or credit card account. You think you are safe in your hotel room signing in with your room number, but you are not. Use 3G or hot spot from your phone for private matters when using hotel wifi.
Almost all websites that require sign in use https which is a secure connection between you and the site and no one can see what you are doing or know your password
