I stayed here in July and loved it, compared favorably to NOVOTEL Clarke Quay where I'd spent some time the previous week. Downer was no lounge, but everything else I was happy with. Room upgrade, free breakfast and 4 X welcome drinks plus welcome gift of water/chocolates/dessert tray was appreciated. Late checkout till 3 even with people in the lobby waiting for their rooms, they looked after the platinum members will IMO
