Ireland VAT refund
Sorry if this question has been asked and answered, but I couldn't find it in a search.
Here's the situation: I got married in Ireland last year and had a local photographer photograph the event. A month ago I ordered all of the photos and they have since been shipped to my home. There was a VAT of about 900 pounds, which he assured me was refundable. However, all I have is a receipt from him; I do not have the VAT "voucher" I keep reading about. I'm considering a mile run to Ireland and would like to get this money back if possible. Do I need a voucher from this merchant, or will the receipt do?
Thanks.
