What's actually kinda funny is that literally right after the deal died and I was in the car, there was a radio ad from Air Canada with "FLIGHTS TO EUROPE ON SALE NOW, SPECIAL PROMOTION"

I'm sure it's not what they had in mind but that's at least one thing that you could argue made you think the deal was not a mistake if they cancel it.
