I read that Wyndham points expire if you have not earned points in 18 months. Is the only way to extend the expiration date by earning points or would booking an award stay also extend them ?

It also says that points expire a 4 years from which they were earned, is it safe to say that the first points earned are the first points used for award bookings.

My new card provides 15K points per year for renewing so I ASSUME that the new points would be used last and older points used first for award bookings..

Also, is there a place on the Wyndham Website that shows the points expiration date ?
