Ah so maybe all is not lost then? Now if I can only find out what a "good" enough reason is for this request. It may just depend on who I'm talking to if its a check-in agent that can do the trick In all seriousness I wonder if business related reasons are good enough because thats what it falls under.

Did consider not checking bags but for a 2-week trip this might not be possible, unless you or anyone else can offer methods or information that might make me see differently.
