You can try punching in your ticket number (not Confirmation Code) into http://www.saudiairlines.com/portal/...mplate.WELCOME (Under "Manage Booking" tab). That usually provides some more details on the status of the ticket.

Doesn't help you directly with resolving UA ticketing issue, but at least it provides some insight on where it's broken. With that, you can share the info with the UA agent to pinpoint the problem.
