However, I've accumulated 150k in American Express membership rewards and will probably have over 200k by the time I need to book a trip for two to Germany next fall. There's gotta be a way I can get two people to Germany with those points, right? We'd be flying out of O'Hare and I don't really care where we fly into Germany - Munich would be ideal, but Frankfurt would work.
I started to look through all the different transfer airlines and playing with their points and WOAH it's a lot to figure out.
Can someone just tell me yes or no if I likely will be able to fly with these points? And which airline is mostly like going to be my best bet?
Thanks so much

Economy class? Then easily enough if you wait until closer to the desired travel dates. Amex lets you use those points toward regular paid air travel tickets. About $750-1000/person for economy class trips from ORD to MUC and back is well within the range of normal or even expensive for say most of the September/October/November period.
There is also the option of transferring them to BA points and redeeming for travel from ORD-DUS/TXL on AirBerlin; and that would probably leave you would a fair balance of Amex points leftover.
