One last recommendation if you end up flying on a A330. I see in your first post that you mention "we". If you want to see the other portion of the "we", it's best to take a window seat and the one across the aisle in the same row. For example: 2A-2C or 2F-2H is better than 2C-2F. In our case, we both like windows, so we take 2H and 3H.
