As most of us know, EK payment options vary from country to country. I buy most of my EK tickets from the UK website and pay in GBP. However I do buy the occasional ticket for an ex India departure from the EK India website and pay in INR.

I noticed that netbanking was one of the options this time around and I managed to do the same via my Indian Bank account after being redirected to my banking website.

Previously, from what I remember the options were Payment by card or you could hold the ticket till payment at the local EK office in India.

I do not remember netbanking as an option the last time I booked a similar ticket (7/8 months ago)

Is this new or have I never noticed it before?
