Mine is covered and even if one took a LCC to say CDG/BRU then travelled on a BA ticket BRU-LHR-LAX-BRU then it would be ok as the travel did indeed commence from the UK albeit on separate tickets. It would even cover if you spent a few days in Paris. You just need to submit both tickets/E Tickets when making a claim.

As I said in the other thread it is always good to read in depth the small print and check these exact scenarios. Many do not.
