obviously a first world issue, but I like to see how far to go in the flight/ location etc etc...

And, if I was being picky...while the IFE is super responsive and clear in display, the content on the IFE is average IMO. Too much tacky hollywood and not enough independent/ festival or foreign language films/ good TV. AIRNZ, it might be time to let LOTR and the Hobbit go...it must be taking up valuable storage in the servers and it's a bit 2001 innit??

A great product IMO and I'd likely seek out the refurb over the 773 now.
I think I was on OKA and OKG over the weekend, albeit in Y. Just to buck the trend, I prefer the new seats (even being 10 across) as I felt the lumbar support was much better and they weren't too uncomfortable. I didn't like the old 747/772 seats as they felt like they had padding in the wrong places.

No issues with the Airshow on either flight for me (AKL-HKG-AKL), but one of the screens would only do the Airshow and no TV/Movies which would have been annoying if there wasn't a spare seat.

Agree the content is a bit average on the IFE at the moment, I'm normally happy with some Hollywood blockbusters (and am not overly worried about art house films etc), but at the moment it seems like the Hollywood stuff is pretty bottom of the barrel (Terminator and San Andreas.... Really?).
