I have 20 bookings on domestic trips (mostly seat-only) and this is the first time I have encountered this. I won't pay the seat choice fee as I give them enough already.
Your Airpoints number may not be correctly linked to the booking. Call the premium team and ask for your membership number to be readded against the booking
