(bumping because it seems relevant)

Booking.com offered this as a hotel for 115.50 CHF all-in on a cancellable rate including breakfast in mid-July. My Europe trip departs from Zurich (and it's not a cheap place for rooms).

I looked up the rate for the Hilton Zurich Airport next door: 151.50 CHF all-in on a cancellable rate. I'm HH Gold. There's just no way I'm going to get $40 in value in points/stay credit out of a one night airport hotel stay (I'm doing well on a promo if I get 20-25% kickback). So it's an easy call to stay at Apart Hotel...
