I only rent from Hertz, so...
I absolutely despise the Ford Contour and Mercury Mystique (just plain ugh). I dislike the Pontiac Grand Am (too small). I don't like the Lincoln Town Car either -- too big!
The Ford Taurus, while it's such a generic fleet car is pretty decent and I don't mind it. Just boring. Mustangs are a little small for me but they do got great acceleration so I don't mind them either. Ford Explorers are nice every so often. Mazda 626's are passible when they got the V6 -- a little too small, tho.
I really like Toyota Camry -- those are real nice cars. I also like, unlike most folks my age, the Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis. I'm lucky now that I get guaranteed upgrades to one of these two cars. One reason to like them is a lot of them come with Neverlost for free in my case. Traction control IMHO is pretty good too; I watched cars slip and slide in Minneapolis last weekend and the Crown Vic just kept going and going. Finally, it's large (but not unparkable) and comfortable and has got a nice climate control system.
