Jack, haha. I hate those MD80's. I was finally excitied that AA was starting to phase them out with the 737NG's. American will have some major plane confusion. What will they do with the 717's? They'll most likely cancel future orders but how do they dump the ones TWA already has? Sell 'em to AirTran?

Don't forget that they'll be aquiring US Air's F100 (IMHO the only mainline plane worse than the MD80).

I guess what it comes down to is that I don't like AA's fleet very much. I also hate that from Chicago AA competes on several large routes (vs. UA) using Eagle RJ's. For example CMH.
