Sorry, I just don't see why anybody would pay more to have a longer total trip and an extra stop. [Edit: Especially if you make it one flight number so you don't get extra miles!]
Sure you can find some days where that happens, maybe a lot of people were going YYZ-SCL and there weren't as many seats available.
But look at BOS-EZE right now for Dec 19 with a Jan 2 return (probably the busiest dates you can find), and AC is cheapest at $2,267 (stops in YYZ and SCL) while AA 1-stop is $500 more.
